The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Friday, Nov. 10, 2023:

  • 2:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 38-year-old Shelby woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, US 31 and Monroe Road, Pentwater Township.
  • 7:43 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 1999 Chevrolet S10 pickup valued at $2,000 was stolen, 3100 block of West McKinley Road, Grant Township. The truck was recovered.
  • 3:21 p.m., (OCSO), three handguns valued at a total of $1,050 and an iPhone 15 valued at $800 were reported stolen and a mailbox and a flat screen TV were damaged, 3400 block of North 140th Avenue, Elbridge Township. 
  • 4:37 p.m., (OCSO), a 42-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for methamphetamine possession and driving while license revoked, 132nd Avenue, Ferry Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023:

  • 11:07 a.m., (OCSO), a 2×3 foot sign valued at $200, was reported stolen, Buchanan Road near 72nd Avenue, Shelby Township.

Monday, Nov. 13, 2023:

  • 1:57 a.m., (OCSO), a 51-year-old Shelby woman was arrested on outstanding warrants, 3000 block of West Baker Road, Shelby Township. A report is being submitted to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for a 51-year-old Shelby man accused of aggravated domestic assault.
