The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:
Friday, Nov. 3, 2023:
- 10:29 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), malicious destruction of property, 8500 North Oceana Drive, three tires were slashed, Weare Township.
- 11:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police) a 28-year-old Holton man was arrested for assault and battery, 5300 block of Skeels Road, Greenwood Township.
Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023:
- 3:30 p.m., (MSP), a 19-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation, driving while license suspended and operating without insurance, Oceana Drive near Hogan Road, Weare Township.
- 8:02 p.m., (OCSO), a 36-year-old Weare Township man was arrested for domestic violence, 8300 block of North Oceana Drive, Weare Township.
Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023:
- 1:23 a.m., (OCSO), noise complaint, loud TV, 2200 block of North Comfort Drive, City of Hart.
Car/deer crashes over the weekend:
MSP: 11; OCSO: five.
