HART — A special collaboration between Hart High School and the local McDonald’s aims to support the school’s media class. On Thursday Nov. 9, the McDonald’s restaurant at 4256 Polk Rd. will dedicate a portion of its sales from the McDonald’s app to assist the students in acquiring a new camera for their sports team broadcasts. Twenty percent of all app-based sales made at the Hart location on that day will be contributed to this cause.
Throughout the day, the restaurant will turn into a hub of school spirit, hosting various activities, including appearances by the cheer team, band members, and students. To further support the media class, customers at the drive-thru can contribute additional funds by depositing donations into a designated fishbowl.
The McDonald’s app is available for download in the Apple App Store and the Android Google Play Store.
