Shelby Fall Festival set for Saturday
SHELBY – The Shelby Fall Festival is set for Saturday Oct. 7 — rain or shine.
The day kicks off with 5K and .5K fun run/walk and a waffle party. The Shelby High School Marching Band will perform at noon. Fourth Street will be lined with live music, free kids’ games, free carnival rides, free pony rides, puppet shows, sidewalk sales, street musicians and more.
The first-ever Blessing of the Badges for local first responders will take place at 1 p.m.
To cap off the event, a pulled pork dinner will be available from 4-6 p.m. The cost is $7 a person or $35 a family.

3:15-3:45 p.m.: Shelby High School Jazz Band

4-6 p.m.: Concert by the DeSalle Bros – featuring oldies, 80s, and Motown favorites
