79th District Court sentencings, posted Oct. 4, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
- Ross Owen Gleason, 35, of 2019 S. 48th Ave., Shelby, pleaded guilty Oct. 3 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days suspended jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; Victim Impact Panel; and $1,479.34 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of failure to report an accident was dismissed.
- Susan Marie Shogren, 62, of 7395 S. 108th Ave., Rothbury, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 26 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $412.50 in fines, costs and restitution.
- Brian Conrad Shogren, 33, of 7395 S. 108th Ave., Rothbury, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 26 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $412.50 in fines, costs and restitution.
- Donald Jamal Wiggins, of 45 S. Elm St., Scottville, pleaded guilty Sept. 29 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 10 days suspended jail with credit for 10 days served and a $75 fine. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Adam Robert Keller, 36, of 3241 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, pleaded guilty Sept. 29 to DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of unregistered vehicle was dismissed.
- Mark Joseph LaFleche, of 10095 Mason Dr., Grant, pleaded guilty Sept. 27 to DWLS and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
