Author of Oceana-based crime thriller to have book signing

HART — Author Jill Wagner who wrote a newly-released crime thriller that takes places in Oceana County will have a book signing Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1-3 p.m. at the Pink Elephant Diner. 

After visiting Oceana County during the summer of 2022, Wagner soon decided it would serve as the perfect setting for her next book.

Jane’s Punishment, which is the second book in a series, is available on Amazon. 

“Last summer when I visited Mears and the dunes, I was absolutely captivated by the area and knew it had to be the setting for my new book,” said Wagner who lives on the east side of the state near Holly — the setting for her first book, Jane’s Journey.

“I’ve encouraged those from the area who have reached out, to bring their books if they’ve already bought them, and I’ll sign them. But I will have both books in the series available to buy at the signing.”
