Hart woman transported to hospital following 2-car crash
HART TOWNSHIP — A 72-year-old Hart woman was transported by Life EMS to Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital following a two-car crash on North Oceana Drive near West Tyler Road Tuesday, Sept. 12, shortly before 7:30 a.m., according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
The woman was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox that collided with a 2006 Lincoln Town Car driven by a 29-year-old Hart man, the report states. The man was southbound on Oceana Drive and told police that “he sneezed and looked up and saw (the woman’s) car turning west right in front of him.” He attempted to brake, but could not avoid the crash, the report states.
He was treated at Trinity Health Shelby Hospital, but was not transported by EMS, according to the report.
Both individuals involved were wearing seatbelts, the report states.
