The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Friday, Sept. 8, 2023:

• 6:41 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), malicious destruction of property, a window was reportedly broken, 400 block of Church Street, City of Hart.
• 12:30 p.m., (OCSO), controlled substance violation involving a juvenile, North State Street, Village of Shelby.
• 2 p.m., (Michigan State Police), fraud, 700 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.
• 8 p.m., (MSP), a 56-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for domestic violence, 1000 block of West Wilke Road, Grant Township.
• 8 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 near Hayes Road, Shelby Township.
• 9:11 p.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Muskegon man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, Maple Island Road, Newfield Township.
• 10 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 near Hayes Road, Shelby Township.

Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023:  

• 1:56 a.m., (OCSO), a 43-year-old Holton man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and driving while license suspended, West Arthur Road near 90th Avenue, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 8 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
• 10 a.m., (MSP), fraud investigation involving a credit card, 5000 block of Water Road, Village of Rothbury.
• 1:30 p.m., (MSP), motorcycle vs, SUV crash, minor injuries, North Ridge Road near Juniper Beach, Golden Township.
• 6 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Silver Lake Road near Dune Vista Drive, Golden Township.

Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023:

• 5:40 p.m., (MSP), a 38-year-old Muskegon woman was cited for operating without insurance following a traffic stop, US 31 near Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
• 7 p.m., (MSP), vehicle crash, no injuries, Jackson Road near North Rossel Lake Road, Colfax Township.
• 7:08 p.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Shelby man was arrested for assault and battery and on a failure to appear warrant, 3200 block of Foster Street, Ferry Township. 
• 11:17 p.m., (OCSO), a 38-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended, South 116th Avenue, Otto Township.
