51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Aug. 31, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Kenneth Hunter Orr, 22, of 3723 N. Green Ave., Hesperia, pleaded guilty May 30, 2023 to third-degree fleeing a police officer and was sentenced Aug. 28, 2023 to 13 days in jail with credit for 13 days served; one year probation; and $708 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.
Andrew James Lane, 32, of 3529 Evanston Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty of probation violation and was sentenced Aug. 28, 2023 to 30 days in jail. “Sentence to be served at the court’s discretion with 10 days to be served forthwith and 20 days discretionary time,” his court file states. “Court-ordered financial obligations previously
ordered remain due and owing. Probation previously ordered shall be continued.” Probation stems from an April 25, 2022 conviction of methamphetamine possession and fourth-offense habitual offender.
Clarence Burrows O’Neal, III, 39, of 835 Country Way, Big Rapids, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced Aug. 28, 2023 to 45 days in jail with credit for 35 days served. “Court-ordered financial obligations previously ordered remain due
and owing. Probation previously ordered shall be continued. It is further ordered that the defendant shall be placed on electronic monitoring to restrict his movements within the community for 90-120 days,” state court records. Probation stems from a March 29, 2022 conviction of methamphetamine possession.
