51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Aug. 23, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Darryl Hunt

Darryl Deshawn Hunt, 22, of 497 Isabella Ave., Muskegon, pleaded guilty June 12 to two counts of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine

and was sentenced Aug. 21 to two concurrent terms of two to 20 years in prison with credit for 186 days served in jail and $2,616 in fines and costs. His sentence is to be serve concurrently to a Manistee County case, court records state.

Keith Alan Spinner, 35, of 625 W. Adams Rd., Pentwater, pleaded “no contest” June 21 to fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and was sentenced Aug. 21 to six months in jail with credit for one day served; five years probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Three counts of second-degree CSC were dismissed. Spinner is required to register as a sex offender and is subject to electronic monitoring.

Hollis Elvin Edwards, Jr., 27, of 2494 Whitetail Dr., Rothbury, pleaded guilty June 13 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Aug. 21 to 60 days in jail with credit for 27 days served; 18 months probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Hollis Edwards

Ryan James Jeffries, 37, of 253 E. Main St., Walkerville, pleaded guilty June 12 to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and was sentenced Aug. 21 to 112 days in jail with credit for 112 days served; two years probation; and $782 in fines and costs.

Travis Alan Love, 29, of 10883 Schow Rd., Holton, pleaded guilty June 26 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Aug. 21 to 300 days in jail with credit for four days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Austin Robert Krieger, 22, of 1436 Port Sheldon St., Jenison, pleaded guilty to probation violation and was sentenced Aug. 21 to 191 days in jail with credit for 191 days served. “Court-ordered financial obligations (of $3,874.89) previously ordered remain due and owing,” court records state. “Probation previously ordered shall be continued. Defendant must obtain a substance abuse assessment. Defendant must go to an inpatient program and successfully complete inpatient rehab.” Probation stems from a Sept. 19, 2022 conviction of uttering and publishing.
