79th District Court sentencings, posted Aug. 17, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

Anthony Alan Brink, 32, of 3709 Cobmoosa Trl., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” Aug. 15 to attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to three days suspended jail with credit for three days served and $625 in fines and costs. One count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed. 

Shanda Marie Morgan, 41, of 292 S. Meyers Rd., Ludington, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed. 

Rachel Nicole Host, 24, of 9630 Roosevelt Rd., Holton, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to operating without a license on person and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs.

Alejandro Joseph Salazar, 38, of 3516 N. Ridge Rd., Mears, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to noise complaint and was sentenced to two days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $150 in fines and costs.

Glenn Harvey Wiggers, 48, of 294 E. Forest Ave., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to DWLS and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
