The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023:

  • 10:34 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 38-year-old Mears man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 3500 block of North Ridge Road, Golden Township.

Friday, Aug. 11, 2023:

  • 9:30 a.m., (OCSO), a 49-year-old Mears man was arrested for illegal entry, methamphetamine possession and an outstanding warrant, 7000 block of North 120th Avenue, Crystal Township.

Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023:

  • 12:45 a.m., (OCSO), a 56-year-old Holton man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a vehicle crash, East Skeels Road, Otto Township.
  • 2:57 a.m., (OCSO), a 48-year-old Fremont man riding a 1994 Yamaha motorcycle was arrested for fleeing and eluding police, East Skeels Road, Otto Township.
  • 4:50 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 55-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant, 3000 block of North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
  • 6:18 p.m., (OCSO), a dirt bike that was stolen in another jurisdiction was recovered locally, 7100 block of South Driftwood Drive, Grant Township.
  • 7:36 p.m., (MSP), moped crash, minor injuries, West Silver Lake Road, Golden Township.
  • 8:14 p.m., (OCSO), domestic violence, no arrest, Highlander Trailer Court, Monroe Road, Weare Township.

Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023:

  • 2:20 a.m., (OCSO), a 49-year-old Norton Shores man was arrested for domestic violence and a warrant, 100 block of West Michigan Avenue, Village of Hesperia.
