79th District Court sentencings, posted Aug. 11, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

  • Magdaleno Miguel Gonzalez-Reyes, of 2177 S. 32nd Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 8 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to $1,055 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and transporting open intoxicants were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). 
  • William Wirt House, of 585 S. 132nd Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 8 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days suspended jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,190 in fines and costs. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed. Conviction reportable SOS.
  • Kara Anne Hibbert, of 16441 15 Mile Rd., Clinton Township, was found guilty Aug. 1 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to Victim Impact Panel; AHSE; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
  • Jonathan Caleb Buck, of 2755 W. Filmore Rd., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 1 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days suspended jail with credit for two days served; Victim Impact Panel; AHSE; and $1,230 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
  • Ian Boyd Stack, of 5700 Lakeshore Ct., Pentwater, was found guilty Aug. 1 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to Victim Impact Panel; AHSE; and $1,105 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable SOS.
  • Daniel D. Guerra, of 2921 W. McKinley Rd., Rothbury, pleaded “no contest” Aug. 1 to stalking and was sentenced to 20 days suspended jail with credit for 20 days served; no contact with the victim; and one year probation.
  • Tara Jean Williams, of 1876 S. Getty St., Muskegon, pleaded “no contest” Aug. 1 to disorderly conduct — drunk and was sentenced to 25 days suspended jail with credit for 25 days served.
  • Maria Teresa Meza, of 1715 Terrace St., Muskegon, was found guilty Aug.1 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs. 
  • Juan Gutierrez-Darios, of 602 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 8 of disorderly person — window peeper and was sentenced to $500 in fines and costs.
  • Laura Elizabeth Ortega, of 15 Sessions St., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 2 of operating without a license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
  • Trad Paul Sheafor, of 7044 N. 92nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty July 31 of operating without a license and was sentenced to three days suspended jail with credit for three days served and $175 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
  • Fred Dennis Hall, of 2157 N. Mears St., Mears, was found guilty Jan, 4, 2023 of improper license and was sentenced Aug. 1 to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 93 days served.

Dismissal

  • Travis Arden Clements, of 5622 S. Water Rd., New Era, one count of DWLS was dismissed, Aug. 1.
