The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Tuesday, July 18, 2023:

• 10:56 a.m., a 56-year-old New Era man was arrested for violating a personal protection order, 8100 block of West Arthur Road, Benona Township.
• 5:46 p.m., a 48-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested for domestic violence, 6700 block of West Garfield Road, Greenwood Township.

Wednesday, July 19, 2023:

• Noon, illegal entry, 2200 block of East Ferry Street, Ferry Township.

Thursday, July 20, 2023:

• 4:01 a.m., a 52-year-old Hart man was arrested for second-offense driving while license revoked, North 84th Avenue near Polk Road, Hart Township.
• 7:34 a.m., domestic violence, 100 block of West Wilke Road, Grant Township.
• 11:18 p.m., a 36-year-old Hart man operating a moped was arrested for driving while license suspended, 72nd Avenue near Melody Lane, Hart Township.
• 11:33 p.m., a 36-year-old Hart man operating a mini bike was arrested for fleeing and eluding police and on an outstanding warrant, 72nd Avenue near Melody Lane, Hart Township. A drug possession charge is pending lab analysis.

Friday, July 21, 2023:

• 11:16 a.m., larceny of guns in a family dispute, 5200 block of West Tyler Road, Golden Township.
• 5:03 p.m., larceny of $1,000 cash, 3100 block of North 56th Avenue, Golden Township.
• 9:51 p.m., a 56-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for domestic violence, 100 block of West Wilke Road, Grant Township.

Saturday, July 22, 2023:

• 11:34 p.m., a 20-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a crash, US 31 near Park Road, Grant Township. According to the accident report, the woman swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled several times. She suffered several cuts and was treated at the scene by Life EMS. 

Monday, July 24, 2023:

• 7:41 p.m., a 54-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested for domestic violence, 7700 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.
