51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted July 19, 2023

HART — The following were recently sentenced in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Matthew Michael Bigler, of 538 Aldrich St., Cadillac, pleaded guilty May 15, 2023 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and operating while intoxicated and was sentenced July 17, 2023 to 19 days in jail with credit for 19 days served; one year probation; and $723 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
Ryan James Jeffries, of 253 E. Main St., Walkerville, pleaded guilty May 22, 2023 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced July 17, 2023 to four months in jail with credit for 79 days served; 18 months probation; and $1,108 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.
Jeremy Wade Stevens, of 471 Groesbeck Ave., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” May 1, 2023 to assault with a dangerous weapon and was sentenced July 17, 2023 to 45 days in jail with credit for three days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.
Kyle Gerald Hiscott, of 140 S. Rush St., Pentwater, pleaded guilty April 10, 2023 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced July 17, 2023 to 120 days in jail with credit for 13 days served; two years probation; and $1,048 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
Brian Gager, of 431 Collins, Muskegon Heights, pleaded guilty May 1, 2023 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced July 17, 2023
to 10 months in jail with credit for 139 days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
Kevin Richard Martin, of 36270 Farragut Ave., Westland, Michigan, pleaded guilty June 5, 2023 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced July 17, 2023 to 10 months in jail with credit for 183 days served and $598 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine was dismissed.
