The following is Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity over the weekend:

Friday, July 7, 2023:

  • 11:25 a.m., breaking and entering, under investigation, 8400 block of South Robinhood Drive, Grant Township.
  • 8:17 p.m., a 58-year-old Hart woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, North 120th Avenue, Elbridge Township.
  • 11:49 p.m., a 39-year-old Shelby man was cited for operating without a license and operating without insurance, Division Street, Village of Hesperia.

Saturday, July 8, 2023:

  • 11:31 a.m., road rage, northbound US 31 near Winston Road, Grant Township. A motorist, who had a child passenger, reported that when another vehicle passed, the driver “flipped them off,” and they were “mooned” by the passenger. 
  • 1:10 p.m., breaking and entering, a trail cam valued at $500 was stolen, East Roosevelt Road, Otto Township.

Sunday, July 9, 2023:

  • 12:24 a.m., a 21-year-old Norton Shores woman was cited for driving while license suspended, South 192nd Avenue, Greenwood Township.
  • 5:06 a.m., a 37-year-old Lawton, Michigan man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 6900 block of Taylor Road, Golden Township.
  • 2:28 p.m., a 54-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 4300 block of West Monroe Road, Weare Township.
  • 8:02 p.m., assault, 3200 block of West Winston Road, Grant Township. No arrests.
