Guns stolen in cabin break-in

OTTO TOWNSHIP — Several guns and tools were stolen during a breaking and entering at a cabin in the 2500 block of East Yale Road that was reported Sunday, July 2, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

Stolen items include: a .22 caliber combination gun valued at $300; a .22 caliber lever action with a scope valued at $500; a .22 caliber with a custom hand-carved stock valued at $300; a trail cam valued at $50; a crossbow and case valued at $100; a Husqvarna chainsaw valued at $400; a Westinghouse generator valued at $200; a Harbor Freight generator valued at $300; and a Briggs & Stratton power washer valued at $100.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office at 231-873-2121.
