Obituary: José Carmen Rosas Villegas, 47, of Hart

José Carmen Rosas Villegas, 47, of Hart, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, June 25, 2023. He was born February 12, 1976, in Caracheo, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Antonio Rosas Nieto and Celia Villegas Galvan.

José had many interests, including playing his guitar, watching and playing sports such as baseball and soccer; especially the Chivas, trying new restaurants, and traveling to different areas like Las Vegas, Mexico, and to the beach. José also loved spending time with his son, Marc; his parents; and his numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

José is survived by: his son, Marc Anthony Rosas; father, Antonio, Sr.; mother, Celia; siblings, Antonio, Jr., Roberto, Alonso, José Ramon (Maria), Isabel (Roman), and Maria del Rosario; and nieces and nephews, Jobany, Sebastian, Moncerrad, Nereyda, Ramon, Iker, Citlali, Arantza, and Gael.

José was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Sebastian and Maria del Rosario; maternal grandparents, José and Isabel; and sister-in-law, Claudia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2023, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 214 South Peach Avenue, Hart. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 North 72nd Avenue, Hart with a praying of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6 p.m., and a luncheon immediately after the Holy Rosary.
