Pentwater Women’s Club installs new board

PENTWATER — The Pentwater Women’s Club met, June 9, for its year-end luncheon and to install the club’s board for the 2023-2024 season.

The Pentwater Women’s Club mission is promoting civic welfare to advance cultural and educational opportunities in the community and to financially assist Pentwater area students who attend higher learning institutions. The club operates as a not-for-profit organization.

The PWC annual Wine and Art Event raises the money for the scholarship fund that allows the club to award qualifying graduates scholarships for post high school education plans as well as a scholarship to West Shore Community College for a returning student. Six Pentwater High School graduates were awarded scholarships this year, and a total of 189 scholarships have been awarded since 1967.
