The following are recent proceedings in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

Arraignments

Felony

Juan Sanchez

Juan Sanchez, Jr., of 68 N. State St., Shelby; unlawful driving away of an automobile (car theft); fleeing police; and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police. Preliminary exam: June 27 at 1 p.m. Bail: $75,000/cash.

Misdemeanors

• Kaleb Nelson Kamps, of 6366 112th Ave., Holland; driving while license suspended (DWLS) on an off-road vehicle (ORV). Pretrial: June 29 at 11 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance (PR).
• Jacob Matthew Ustick, of 511 Wood St., Hart; DWLS. Pretrial: June 29 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
• Taylor Austin Domingues, of 502 Ludington Ave., Ludington; second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: June 29 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
• Travis Arden Clements, of 5622 S. Water Rd., New Era; DWLS and operating without insurance. Pretrial: June 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
• Amy Marie Beecham, of 7429 Forest Glen Rd., Rothbury; allowing an unlicensed driver to operate. Pretrial: June 22 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.

Sentencings

• Lisa Marie Gillespie, of 409 Church St., Hart, was found guilty June 6 of malicious destruction of property and was sentenced to $160 in fines and costs.
• Adrian Quinton Green ,of 1350 E. Wilcox Ave., Fremont, was found guilty June 6 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 57 days suspended jail with credit for 57 days served. One count of failure to report an accident was dismissed.
• Nolan Michael Wernstrom, of 2830 E. White Lake Dr., Twin Lake, was found guilty June 6 of breaking and entering — illegal entry and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
• Paul Thomas-Russell Gifford, of 4260 Teanmar Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty June 6 of breaking and entering — illegal entry and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
