51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted June 1, 2023
HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Joshua Samuel-Thomas Jenkins, of 5582 Sagola Trail, New Era, was found guilty March 20 of larceny — $1,000 or more and was sentenced May 22 to five months in jail with credit for 161 days served; $2,500 in restitution; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs.
Michael Williamdale Steffes, of 2218 186th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty May 22 of probation violation and sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 12 days served. Probation stems from a May 16, 2022 conviction of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police.
Drew Edward Beatty, of 5530 E. Croton Hardy Dr., Newaygo, was found guilty May 22 of probation violation and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served. Probation stems from a November 15, 2021 conviction of larceny — $1,000 or more and breaking and entering a building with intent.
Zachary Bundy Leslie, of 1456 E. Cuming St., Fremont, was found guilty March 20 of unlawful driving away of an automobile and was sentenced May 22 to one year in jail with credit for 145 days served; two years probation; $5,857.33 in restitution; and $598 in fines and costs.
Stephen Robert Lindley, of 512 S. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty March 20 of controlled substance possession and was sentenced May 22 to five months in jail with credit for 15 days served; two years probation; and $428 in fines and costs. Lindley also was found guilty of second-degree home invasion and was sentenced to a concurrent term of five months in jail with credit for 15 days served and $598 in fines and costs.
Craig Anthony Skirnski, of 12554 Peach Ave., Grant, pleaded “no contest” March 20 to third-offense domestic violence and was sentenced May 22 to seven months in jail with credit for four days served and $658 in fines and costs.
Todd Allen Smith, of 2132 N. 56th Ave., Mears, pleaded “no contest” March 20 to larceny over $1,000 and was sentenced May 22 to six months
in jail with credit for 152 days served; $5,430 in restitution; and $598 in fines and costs. Smith also pleaded “no contest” to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced to a concurrent term of six months in jail with
credit for 152 days served; and $198 in fines and costs.
Tyler Scott Gettings, of 687 95th Ave., Stanwood, pleaded “no contest” March 20 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced May 22 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs.
Darin Colt Cunninham, of 2265 S. 186th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty March 20 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced May 22 to one year in jail with credit for one day served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs.
