Man injured in motorcycle vs. deer crash
HART TOWNSHIP — A 30-year-old Rothbury man was transported by Life EMS to Trinity Health Hospital in Muskegon following a motorcycle crash Monday, May 30, shortly before 3 a.m. on North Oceana Drive near Harrison Road, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
The motorcyclist was northbound and unable to avoid a deer crossing the roadway, the report states. He fell off the 2000 Yamaha V Star, causing road rash and a possible broken ankle. He was wearing a helmet. Alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors in the crash, the report states.
