79th District Court sentencings, posted April 24, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Jodi Lyn Heck, of 8060 Cook St., Montague, pleaded “no contest” April 11 to assault and battery and was sentenced to one year probation and $500 in fines and costs.
De Andre Bergen, of 715 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty April 11 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $1,052 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of improper license dismissed.
Israel Flores, Jr., of 5595 W. Taylor Rd., Mears, was found guilty April 14 of operating without a license and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Ines Santigao-Bautista, of 543 E. McKinley Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty April 12 of improper license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Cassandra Vanessa Pena, of 412 Johnson St., Hart, was found guilty April 12 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
Danny William Jones, Jr., of 173 Sessions Rd., Shelby, was found guilty April 11 of dog running at large and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
Laverne Dale Hofmann, of 150 N. 192nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty April 11 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
Maria Rosa Escamilla, of 504 S. Union St., Hart, was found guilty April 11 of truancy and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs.
