51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted April 20, 2023

Hudson

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Ryan Jo Hudson, of 1158 Brian Dr., Muskegon, was found guilty April 10 of probation violation and was sentenced to two to five years in prison with credit for 450 days served in jail and $490 in fines and costs. Hudson’s probation stems from a May 6, 2019 conviction of third-offense operating while intoxicated.

Reyna

Julian Lugo Reyna, 32, of 3098 Oceana Dr., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 30 to fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) — force or coercion and was sentenced April 17 to 78 days in jail with credit for 78 days served; four

years probation; no contact with the victim; and $198 in fines and costs. One count of third-degree CSC — force or coercion was dismissed. In a separate case, Reyna pleaded “no contest” to assault with intent to do bodily harm less than murder Jan. 30 and was sentenced April 17 to a consecutive term of 78 days in jail with credit for 78 days served; 18 months probation; no contact with the victim; and $658 in fines and costs. The cases involve different female victims, according to court records.

Ortego

Shawn Alan Goerbig, 43, of 922 E. Colby St., Whitehall, was found guilty Jan. 6 of ethnic intimidation and was sentenced April 10 to nine months in jail with credit for 116 days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. 

Rick Wade Ortego, 41, of 1930 Collins Ave., SE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Oct. 24, 2022 of illegal delivery/circulation/sale of a financial transaction device and was sentenced April 10, 2023 to 236 days in jail with credit for 236 days served; $6,000 restitution; and $398 in fines and costs.

Monroe

One count of larceny $1,000 or more was dismissed.

Jajuantae Jalee Trotter, 23, of 178 Forest St., Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 24, 2023 of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance — narcotic or cocaine — less than 50 grams and was sentenced April 10, 2023 to five months in jail and $1,274 in fines, costs and restitution. Trotter did not report to jail as directed, according to Lt. Shane Hasty of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office, and there is a warrant for his arrest. His mugshot is unavailable.

Ronald Sylvester-Cletus Monroe, 23, of 4055 White River Dr., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 17, 2023 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced April 10, 2023 to 17

Hogan

days in jail with credit for 17 days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs.

Megan Marie Hogan, 37, of 8434 Holton Duck Lake Rd., Holton, was found guilty Jan. 30 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced April 17 to 140 days in jail with credit for 140 days served; 18 months probation; and

Quintero

$658 in fines and costs.

Juan Clemente Quintero, 25, of 4164 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 24 of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance — narcotic or cocaine — less than 50 grams and was sentenced April 10 to six days in jail with credit for six days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Charges of controlled substance possession — narcotic or cocaine — less than 25 grams, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm were dismissed. The .22 caliber revolver seized by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office must be forfeited to the police agency, court records state.

Rafael Edward Davis, 42, of 10050 W. Woodrow Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 23 of

methamphetamine possession and was sentenced April 10 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 18 months probation; and $898 in fines, costs and restitution. Two counts of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine were dismissed. 

Clark

Dustin Douglas Clark, of 2151 N. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty April 10 of probation violation and sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 177 days served and previously-ordered fines and costs of $458 remain due. His probation stems from a Sept. 20, 2021 conviction of methamphetamine possession.

Joshua Joseph Norman, 25, of 2838 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 29, 2022 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced April 10 to 87 days in jail with credit for 87 days served; one

year probation; and $658 in fines and costs.
