UPDATE: Humberto has been located and returned home to his parents, according to Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar Wednesday, April 5, at 9:30 p.m.

Police searching for missing 12-year-old boy

HART — The Hart Police Department is searching for missing “juvenile/runaway” Humberto Herebia.

Humberto — who is 5’5″ and 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes — was last seen at his home in Hart Tuesday, April 4, around 10 a.m. wearing a gray-colored sweater and pants. 

HPD issued the following statement on Facebook Wednesday, April 5, shortly before 7 p..m.:

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Missing Juvenile / Runaway

DATE: Wednesday, April 5th, 2023

INFORMATION: The Hart Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile runaway.

Humberto Herebia, 12, was last seen at his home within the City of Hart on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Humberto was last known to be wearing a gray colored sweater and pants.  Humberto is 5’5″, approximately 130lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Humberto’s whereabouts is asked to please contact the Mason/Oceana Central Dispatch at (231-869-5858).
