79th District Court sentencings, March 24, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

Kathleen Gillian Stevens, of 53 Northland Crossings, Shelby, was found guilty March 14 of operating with a high blood alcohol content and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of failure to report an accident to fixtures was dismissed.

Mason Allen Johnson, of 1388 N. 34th Ave., Mears, was found guilty March 21 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE) and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS. 

Alberto Garrido-Maurin, of 216 W. Forest Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty March 14 of improper license and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

Tyler Ray Billings, of 4239 E. Yonker Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty March 21 of failure to stop for a personal injury accident and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 40 hours community service to be completed within 60 days; and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of failure to report an accident was dismissed.

Holly Lee Whelan, of 4081 N. Green Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty March 14 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of breaking and entering — illegal entry was dismissed.

Jimmie Andrew Moore, Jr., of 5417 E. Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty March 17 of improper license and was sentenced to $420 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. 

Armando Felix, of 22 Chapita Hills, Shelby, was found guilty March of DWLS and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. 

Mark Alan Krull, of 9528 S. Oceana Dr., Montague, was found guilty March 16 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. 

Jessie Joseph Rollins, of 7415 Whitehall Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty March 16 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. 

Ashley Lynn Gale, of 11434 N. Bingham Ave., Bitely, was found guilty March 16 of shining with a weapon in possession and shining in November after 11 p.m. and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. 

Johnathan Edward Waldeck, of 7140 S. Westshore Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty March 15 of improper license and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

Elessie Gabriel Walker, Jr., of 3232 MacArthur Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty March 21 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. 

Dismissal

Shawn Ronald Alvesteffer, of 2477 W. Jefferson Rd., Pentwater, one count of domestic violence dismissed. “Victim in this matter no longer has any recollection of of what occurred and we are unable to move forward in prosecuting this matter,” court records state.
