Obituary: Hayley Flanery, 26, of Holton, formerly of Hesperia
Hayley Marie Flanery, 26, of Holton, formerly of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 5, 2023. She was born April 5, 1996, in Fremont, the daughter of Scott and Chris (Flanery) Venne.
Hayley was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. Above all, Hayley had a genuine and caring personality, and she loved to take care of children. She ultimately expressed this caring nature to her daughter, Hazyl Jean Flanery, who she loved deeply.
Hayley is survived by her daughter, Hazyl Jean Flanery; parents, Scott and Chris Venne of Muskegon; grandparents, Dan Flanery of Muskegon, and Mary (Jeffery Shafer) Verschueren of Walkerville; great-grandma, Beverly Verschueren of Holton; siblings, Kyle (April Garcia) Venne of Muskegon, Stephanie (Brad Oerther) Graham of Frankfort, Ky., and Kayla Esterling of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, Itzia Venne of Muskegon, and Knox Graham of Frankfort, Ky.; uncle, Adam (Stacy) Flanery; cousins, Colin and Parker Flanery; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Hayley was preceded in death by: her great-grandparents, Otto Verschueren, Cheryl Kenny, Fred Kenny, and Russ Venne.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Hesperia Chapel, 61 Hawley Street, Hesperia. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
