Traffic alert: garbage truck tips over on icy roads

BENONA TOWNSHIP — A garbage truck tipped over on its side in the icy road conditions Monday morning, Feb. 27, on West Grant Road near 24th Avenue, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. Emergency crews were working to upright the truck, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
