Drunk driving arrests top weekend police activity 

The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023:

  • 1:33 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 31-year-old Muskegon Heights man was arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content, South Division Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 12:25 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a driver’s license and debit card, 8900 block of East Baker Road, Newfield Township.
  • 7:59 a.m., (OCSO), a 23-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, East Filmore Road, Leavitt Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 2:10 p.m., (OCSO), a 42-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for domestic violence, 8700 block of North 104th Avenue, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 11:05 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 44-year-old Fremont man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant on three charges, 8800 block of East Roosevelt Road, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
