Winter storm watch 

A winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service is in effect from Tuesday evening, Feb. 21, through Thursday morning, Feb. 23.

Counties included in the watch are Oceana, Mason, Newaygo, Lake, Osceola, Clare, Mecosta and Isabella.

Heavy mixed precipitation is possible with total snow accumulations of 6-10 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze is possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
