The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023:

• 8:52 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), methamphetamine possession, 72nd Avenue, Weare Township. A charge is pending lab analysis.
• 10 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Hesperia man was  arrested for fleeing and eluding, operating without a license and a failure to appear warrant, Michigan Avenue, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, Feb. 10, 2023:

• 7:10 a.m., (OCSO), a 36-year-old Walkerville man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Main Street, Village of Walkerville.
• 11:08 a.m., (OCSO), fraud, $1,000 wire transaction, 1000 block of East M 20, Ferry Township.
• 4:42 p.m.,  (OCSO), larceny, 8800 block of South Oceana Drive, Grant Township.
• 5:04 p.m., (OCSO), domestic, 4700 block of Maple Island Road, Newfield Township. The matter was referred to probate court.
• (OCSO), a 37-year-old Bitely man was arrested for methamphetamine possession, operating without a license, operating without insurance, improper license plate and an outstanding warrant, 100 block of South Division Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 8 p.m., (OCSO), a 45-year-old Pentwater man was cited for DWLS and operating without insurance, 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
• 9:30 p.m., (OCSO), a 66-year-old Montague man was cited for DWLS, Oceana Drive, Grant Township.

Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023:

• 1:43 p.m., (OCSO), assault, Wesco, 4600 block of First Street, Village of New Era.
• 3:55 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 46-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and driving without a license, Filmore Road and 192nd Avenue, Leavitt Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 5:56 p.m., (OCSO), a 54-year-old Shelby man was arrested for domestic assault, 1500 block of West Shelby Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023:

• 1:35 a.m., (OCSO), a 17-year-old Hesperia boy was cited for operating while intoxicated — under age 21 and transporting open intoxicants, Weaver Street, Village of Hesperia. A 40-year-old Hesperia woman was cited for open intoxicants.
• 1:35 a.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old Hart man was cited for operating without a license, Oceana Drive near Baker Road, Shelby Township.
• 3:09 p.m., (OCSO), breaking and entering, 100 block of Chester Street, Village of Pentwater. Modelo brand beer was stolen.
