No one injured when trailer comes unhitched from vehicle hauling it
FERRY TOWNSHIP — No one was injured when a trailer came unhitched from the vehicle that was hauling it Monday, Feb. 6, shortly after noon on East M 20 near South 154th Avenue, according to Lt. Shane Hasty of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.
“The clasp hitch may have failed,” said Lt. Hasty. Details are preliminary as the accident report was not yet completed.

- 7:12 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), breaking and entering of the former Barber Steel Foundry, 2600 block of West Winston Road, Village of Rothbury. The case is under investigation, and few details are being released at this time.
- 6:58 p.m., (OCSO), a 39-year-old Newfield Township man was arrested for several probation violations, 3800 block of South Riverview Drive, Newfield Township.
