The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023:

  • 9:39 a.m., verbal domestic dispute, no arrests 4700 block of West Baseline Road, Golden Township.
  • 10:48 a.m., fraud, an attempt to withdraw from a bank account, 1800 block of North White Birch, Golden Township.
  • 12:55 p.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, East Loop Road and South 176th Avenue, Newfield Township.
  • 3:20 p.m., a 24-year-old Shelby Township man was arrested for domestic violence, 3000 block of West Baseline Road, Shelby Township.

Friday, Feb. 3, 2023:

  • 7:38 a.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, West Monroe Road, Weare Township.
  • 6:19 p.m., hit-and-run crash, East Hawley Road, Newfield Township.

Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023:

  • 7:20 a.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, Weare Township.

Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023:

  • 1:57 p.m., breaking and entering, missing door hinges, South Sagola Trail, Grant Township.
  • 1:59 p.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, East Buchanan Road, Newfield Township.
  • 3:39 p.m., criminal sexual conduct, under investigation, South Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.
