Police busy with crashes on snowy roads

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023:

• 7:32 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 68-year-old Onekama woman received minor injuries following a one-vehicle crash, North 120th Avenue near East Jefferson Road, Crystal Township. The northbound 2006 Chevrolet Impala she was driving went off the road at the curve and went into the ditch, according to the accident report. The woman was checked at the scene by Life EMS for minor arm pain.

Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023:

• 10:55 a.m., (OCSO) larceny of a license plate, 3700 block of West Washington Road, Weare Township.
• 4 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 39-year-old Pentwater man was arrested on a dangerous drugs warrant, 700 block of Dryden Street, City of Hart. 
• 7:50 p.m., (OCSO), family disturbance, 3200 block of North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.

Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023:

• 7:01 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, North Oceana Drive and North 176th Avenue, Leavitt Township.
• 9:21 a.m., (OCSO), family disturbance, 6100 block of West Baker Road, 
• 10:52 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle slide-off, no injuries, South Scenic Drive near West Garfield Road, Benona Township.
• 11:47 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries or damage, East Van Buren Road near 66th Avenue, Weare Township.
• 12:19 p.m., (OCSO), suspicious mail, Hart Township.
• 5:04 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, West Arthur Road near South 88th Avenue, Grant Township.
• 5:22 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, South 184th Avenue near East Wilke Road, Greenwood Township.
• 6:29 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, southbound US 31 near West Grant Road, Shelby Township.
• 10:03 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle slide-off, no injuries, North Oceana Drive near North 80th Avenue, Weare Township.
• 10:20 p.m., (MSP), a 39-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. (The location was not specified.)
