The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Monday, Jan. 16, 2023:
- 2:30 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of road commission signs, South 194th Avenue, Greenwood Township.
Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023:
- 7:24 p.m., (OCSO), a male subject was arrested on outstanding warrants, 7100 block of South 80th Avenue, Grant Township.
Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023:
- 11:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 39-year-old Hesperia man surrendered on a failure to appear warrant, Oceana County Jail, City of Hart.
Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023:
- 12:47 a.m., (MSP), a 28-year-old Big Rapids man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, 192nd Avenue near Polk Road, Leavitt Township.
- 1:40 p.m., (OCSO), family trouble, West 3rd Street, Village of Shelby.
- 11:05 p.m., (OCSO), family trouble regarding an occupant wanting a family member to move out, South Sessions Road, Village of Shelby. No one was willing to provide a statement.
Monday, Jan. 23, 2023:
- 8:17 a.m., (MSP), a 31-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant for a disorderly person charge, 500 block of Maple Island Road, Leavitt Township.
- 1:01 p.m,. (OCSO), suspicious mail, 3900 block of West Meadow Lane, Hart Township.
Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023:
- 1:40 a.m., (MSP), a 43-year-old Hart woman was cited for driving while license suspended and operating without insurance, Washington Road and 66th Avenue, Weare Township.
