The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023:
- 12:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 37-year-old Twin Lake man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, northbound US 31 at the Muskegon County line, Grant Township.
Friday, Jan. 13, 2023:
- 7:22 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), vehicle crash, no injuries, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
- 2:19 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, Wesco, 7500 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.
Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023:
- 3:45 a.m., (OCSO), domestic assault investigation, East Deer Road near North 144th Avenue. No arrests.
- 7:48 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, North State Street, Village of Shelby.
- 11:31 p.m., (MSP), a 19-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI), Greenwood Township.
Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023:
- 10:27 a.m., (MSP), a 68-year-old Muskegon man was cited for driving with an expired license, Loop Road and 192nd Avenue, Newfield Township.
- 1:46 p.m., (MSP), a 26-year-old Hart woman was cited for driving without a license, Polk Road and 56th Avenue, Golden Township.
- 5:37 p.m., (MSP) OWI investigation, Harrison Road and 68th Avenue, Hart Township.
Monday, Jan. 16, 2023:
- 4:24 p.m., (MSP), a 39-year-old Hesperia man was arrested driving without insurance, driving while license revoked and an outstanding warrant, Maple Island Road near Ed’s Orchard Market, Village of Hesperia.
