Catalytic converters stolen off car at dealership

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Three catalytic converters valued at over $3,000 were stolen from a vehicle parked in a lot at Affordable Auto Service & Sales on Shelby Road, according to Lt. Shane Hasty of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft was reported Wednesday morning, Jan. 4.

Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023:

  • 12:25 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a dog crate valued at $74, West Longbridge Road, Pentwater Township. The crate, which was delivered to the home, likely was stolen off the porch.

Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023:

  • 6:18 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 37-year-old Coopersville man was arrested on failure to appear warrant,  US 31 and M 20, Shelby Township.
