Recent police activity in Oceana County includes:

Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022:

• 6:24 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), vehicle crash, no injuries, West Tyler Road and North 88th Avenue, Hart Township.
• 6:20 p.m., (OCSO), complainant reported a vehicle was stolen, 3700 block of West Van Buren Road, Hart Township. It was determined that the vehicle was not stolen — it was covered in snow.
• 7:47 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle cash, no injuries, 2400 block of East Skeels Road, Otto Township.

Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022:

• 2:47 p.m., (OCSO), criminal sexual conduct involving victimizing a 15-year-old girl by having her send photos to the suspect, Village of Rothbury.

Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022:

• 12:56 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, West Winston Road, Claybanks Township.
• 2:20 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 52-year-old Muskegon man was cited for driving while license suspended, US 31 near mile marker 154, Pentwater Township.

Friday, Dec. 30, 2022:

• 8:50 a.m., (OCSO), assault, Oceana County Jail, City of Hart. Two inmates were arguing over the TV remote, and one threw the remote at the other one. No injuries were reported.
• 11:16 a.m., (OCSO), disturbance, 5700 block of South Cherokee, Grant Township. An adult brother and sister were arguing, and he threatened to burn her house down. He left the residence on foot. 
• 7:01 p.m., (OCSO), malicious destruction of property, West Hawley Street, Village of Hesperia.
• 8:31 p.m., (OCSO), harassment, 8500 block of South 192nd Avenue, Greenwood Township.

Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022:

• 6:02 a.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, 2700 block of West Woodrow Road, Shelby Township. 
• 10:40 a.m., (OCSO), breaking and entering, 8900 E Pierce Road, Newfield Township.
• 4:38 p.m., (OCSO), a juvenile was cited for an alcohol violation, 3600 block of North 166th Avenue, Weare Township.

Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023:

• 3:34 p.m., (OCSO), domestic, 1300 block of West Monroe Road, Weare Township. An adult mother and daughter were arguing. There were no arrests or injuries.
• 6:20 p.m., (MSP), a 40-year-old Hart woman was cited for no insurance, Polk Road near 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.

Monday, Jan. 2, 2023:

• 4:08 p.m., (OCSO), malicious destruction of property, 9400 block of South 60th Avenue, Claybanks Township. An unknown substance was found on the exterior of a vehicle after the owner attended a social gathering.
• 6:46 p.m., (OCSO), malicious destruction of property, 2500 block of South 36th Avenue, Benona Township. A person was doing donuts at the end of dead-end road. No damage was reported.
