SUMMIT TOWNSHIP, Mason County — Two teens — one of whom is a juvenile — were apprehended by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday, Dec. 28, shortly after 5 p.m. following a 911 call of a person firing a gun from a moving northbound vehicle on US 31 near the Mason/Oceana county line, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“The caller — a military veteran — recognized the sound of gunfire and muzzle flash as that of a gun firing and placed the 911 call,” said Sheriff Cole. “This person then followed the vehicle until a deputy arrived.
