79th District Court sentencings, Dec. 28, 2022

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Jacob Scott Schutter, of 4075 Clay Rd., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 20 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
Jeremy John Rogers, of 6641 2nd St., Holton, was found guilty Dec. 27 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to $500 in fines and costs. A second count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
Zachary Donald Freed, of 4149 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 20 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of failure to stop after an accident was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Jeanne Eloise Kaercher, of 7644 Dalgen Dr., Reynoldsburg, Ohio, was found guilty Dec. 20 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE) and $940 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
Elizabeth Dawn Jobbins, of Hart (street address unavailable), was found guilty Dec. 20 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to $125 in fines and costs.
Emmanuel Rodriguez, of 7211 W. Stony Lake Rd., New Era, was found guilty Dec. 20 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of operating without insurance and improper license plate were dismissed.
Abigail Escamilla, of 6676 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 8 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced Dec. 20 to $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Derek Scott Zuniga, of 8656 Holton Duck Lake Rd., Holton, was found guilty Dec. 6 of larceny by conversion and was sentenced to $460 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of larceny by conversion $200-$1,000 was dismissed.
Tiffany Nicole Hall, of 1440 Clinton St., Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 6 of operating while intoxicated and received an amended sentence of AHSE and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
James Patrick Edwards, of 217 W. Fillmore Rd., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 8 of DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. A second count of DWLS was dismissed.
Dominique Niccolas Hampton, of 2684 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Dec. 7 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
David Michael Pearson, of 2185 W. 15 Mile Rd., Bitely, was found guilty Dec. 6 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $975 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
Isaiah Robert Klop, of 6588 S. 50th Ave., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 6 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs
Dismissals
Dean Comrade McCallum, of 6743 5 Mile Rd., Hesperia, charges of DWLS and operating without insurance were dismissed Dec. 20.
Bryan Paul Vanderlinder, of 45982 Duke Dr., Chesterfield, Michigan, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed Dec. 6.
