New Era man sent to prison for selling meth to undercover officer

HART — A 47-year-old New Era man was sentenced to serve a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 20 years in prison Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court Monday, Dec. 5, for a conviction of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. 

Richard Armond Alldaffer, of 5708 Cherokee Bend, Grant Township, pleaded guilty to the felony, Oct. 24. One count of weapons — felony firearm was dismissed.

The drug transaction took place in Grant Township in October of 2021. “He sold to an undercover officer,” said Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon.

Judge Susan K. Sniegowski gave Alldaffer credit for 161 days served in jail. He was ordered to pay $338 in fines and costs.
