The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Friday, Dec. 2, 2022:

  • 9:03 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of Oceana County Road Commission road signs, West Buchanan Road and South 102nd Avenue, Shelby Township. 
  • 5 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 52-year-old Rothbury man was cited for driving without insurance and driving without a license, West Cleveland Road near Oceana Drive, Grant Township.

Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022:

  • 10:59 a.m., (OCSO), malicious destruction of property, West Adams Road and North 88th Avenue, Weare Township. Someone removed posts to a property line fence, so they could drive a vehicle through. 
  • 6:20 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, southbound US 31 near the rest area, Hart Township.
  • 7 p.m., (MSP), larceny of a chainsaw, 7000 block of North 128th Avenue, Colfax Township.
