79th District Court sentencings, Dec. 1, 2022

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

  • Roy Edward Bromley, of 140 N. Cook St., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 29 to animal cruelty/abandonment and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of animal cruelty was dismissed.
  • Jake Edward Scudder, of 8728 Meade St., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 1 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
  • Ferrel Michael Mejeur, of 4415 E. Arthur Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 30 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
  • Suante G. Davis, of 605 Glen Oaks Dr., Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 29 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS and operating without insurance were dismissed.
  • Alexis Rose Boissonneau, of 710 E. Main St., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 29 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.
