51st Circuit Court sentencings, Nov. 30, 2022

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Azeezuddin Jalal III Aluqdah, of 3317 Sanford St., Muskegon, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 12 to three counts of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance less than 50 grams and was sentenced Nov. 28 to 94 days in jail with credit for 94 days served and $1,973 in fines, costs and restitution. Welch

Arkie Eugene Welch, Jr., of 2669 W. Webster Rd., Montague, was found guilty Aug. 9 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Nov. 28 to 47 days in jail with credit for 47 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Duell

Joseph Robert-Andrew Duell, of 4212 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 12 of fourth-degree fleeing a police officer and was sentenced Nov. 28 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 18 months probation; and $748 in fines and costs. Charges of methamphetamine possession and operating without insurance were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Michael Thomas Sturtevant, of 5938 W. Two Mile Rd., White Cloud, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 12 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced Nov. 28 to 141 days in jail with credit for 141 days served and $198 in fines and costs. A second count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.

Emilto Moreno-Gomez, of 2235 N. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty of a probation violation Nov. 28 and sentenced to 183 days in jail with credit for 180 days served; five years probation; and $458 in fines and costs. Probation stems from a June 14, 2021 conviction of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Sturtevant

Casey Jesus Melchor, of 578 Harvey St., Shelby, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 12 to allowing an intoxicated person to operate, causing serious injury and was sentenced Nov. 28 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs. driving while license suspended were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Kerry Lynn Timmer, of 68 N. State St., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 12 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Nov. 28 to seven days in jail with credit for seven days served; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Brooke Nicole Collins, of 2299 N. 84th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 28 of narcotic use and was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. One count of controlled substance possession was dismissed.
