51st Circuit Court sentencings, Nov. 18, 2022

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Travis Scott Plotts, of 10782 N. Bingham Ave., Bitely, was found guilty Sept. 19 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Nov. 14 to one year in jail with credit for 207 days served and $598 in fines and costs. Plotts was also found guilty July 11, 2022 of probation violation and was sentenced Nov. 14, 2022 to 361 days in jail with credit for 361 days served and $4594 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from Oct. 7, 2020 convictions of fourth-degree fleeing and eluding (two counts) and using a police radio receiver/scanner in the
commission of a felony, is revoked.
Eric Ivan Grimaldo, of 1084 Crestwood Lane, Bolingbrook, Illinois, was found guilty Sept. 19 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced Nov. 14 to four days in jail with credit for four day served; one year probation; and $658 and fines and costs. Charges of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and assault of battery were dismissed.
Stephanie Renee Martin, of 2410 Heights Ravenna Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Aug. 9, 2021 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Nov. 14, 2022 to nine months in jail with credit for 213 days served and $398 in fines and costs.
Austin Robert Krieger, of 1436 Port Sheldon St., Jenison, was found guilty Sept. 19 of uttering and publishing and was sentenced Nov. 14 to five months in jail with credit for 136 days served; two years probation; $3,726.89 in restitution; and $598 in fines and costs.
Jennifer Rae Vannett-Herrygers, of 10264 Summerwood Dr., Zeeland, was found guilty Sept. 19 of identity theft and was sentenced Nov. 14 to one day in jail with credit for one day
served; one year probation; $1,410 in restitution; and $658 in fines and costs.
Thomas Dean Ragen, of 5630 8 Mile Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 19 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Nov. 14 to 10 months in jail with credit for 21 days
served and $598 in fines and costs.
Curtis Steven Elwell, of 4510 Orshal Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Oct. 3 of carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced Nov. 14 to two days in jail
with credit for two days served; 18 months probation; and
$658 in fines and costs. One count of possession of a firearm under the influence was dismissed.
Nicholas John Guzal, of 3169 Sharon Court, Medina, Ohio, was found guilty Sept. 19 of possession of a narcotic/cocaine less than 25 grams and was sentenced Nov. 14 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Charges of analogues possession and assault and battery were dismissed. (Mugshot unavailable.)
