Th following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Monday, Nov. 7, 2022:
- 2:19 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny, cat litter was stolen from Dollar General, 4100 block of Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.
Friday, Nov. 11, 2022:
- 9:47 a.m., (OCSO), malicious destruction of property, a chair at the Wishing Well was broken, 9500 block of Business Route US 31, Pentwater Township.
Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022:
- 1:30 p.m., (OCSO), assault, an inmate at the Oceana County Jail assaulted a corrections officer, Lincoln Street, City of Hart.
- 11:10 p.m., (OCSO), a 29-year-old Grant Township man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, West Garfield Road near South 90th Avenue, Grant Township.
Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022:
- 11:27 a.m., (OCSO), unlawful driving away of an automobile/car theft, 200 block of North McLaren Street, Village of Hesperia. A woman stayed with a man for the evening. When he woke up, the truck was gone and so was she, said Lt. Shane Hasty.
- 3:51 p.m., (Michigan State Police), an 18-year-old Texas woman was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle, northbound US 31, Hart Township
