Hart Wesleyan Church offering low-cost immigration legal services.

HART – Hart Wesleyan Church has announced launching Immigration Connection, a program that offers low-cost immigration legal services in Oceana County and surrounding areas.

To offer these services, the church and Pastor Bob Gray had to go through a lengthy training and application process to become an accredited site by the US Department of Justice.

“Oceana County has a rich history of immigrants from Mexico, and our church recognized that one of the challenges facing this community is the lack of available resources to aid in legal matters for immigration,” said Pastor Gray, who is the Immigrant Connection site director.

An initial consultation by appointment is $50. All consultations are confidential. This consultation will help give the best possible information to anyone looking to move forward in an immigration process, or just to find out where they are and the next steps. Other services offered include family-based petitions, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) renewal, adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization/citizenship applications.

To celebrate the opening, the Hart Wesleyan Church is hosting an open house grand opening Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Mexican food and snacks will be provided, along with further information about the new service.

Hart Wesleyan Church is a recognized legal site, and Pastor Bob Gray is accredited by the Department of Justice to offer immigration legal services.

The church is located at 3757 W. Polk Rd.
