The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Oct. 17, 2022:

  • 1:05 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of beer, Wesco convenience store, North State Street, Village of Shelby. A juvenile was cited to appear in juvenile court.

Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022:

  • 4:02 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of meat valued at $30 from a freezer, 7100 block of South 88th Avenue, Grant Township.
  • 6:54 p.m., (OCSO), out of control juvenile, 4700 block of South Maple Island Road, Newfield Township.

Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022:

  • 7:50 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 50-year-old Bitely man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Tyler Road and 116th Avenue, Hart Township.
