HART — The following were arraigned recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
Todd Allen Smith, of 2132 N. 56th Ave., Mears; Shelby Police Department (SPD); larceny $1,000-$20,000. Probable cause hearing: Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent. Smith also faces a misdemeanor of domestic violence stemming from an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) arrest. Pretrial: Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
Jared James Conkle, of 4633 Elm St., New Era; Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO); common law fraud. Probable cause hearing: Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. Bail: $10,000.
Misdemeanors
Cody Scott Merrill, of 645 S. 88th Ave., Shelby; Hart Police Department (HPD); malicious destruction of property less than $200. Pretrial: Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance (PR).
Jonathan David Herman, of 1457 Destiny Dr., Muskegon; OCSO; disposal of solid waste at a non-licensed facility. Pretrial: Nov. 3 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
Austyn Kevin Liebeskind, of 6464 River Rd., Cass City, Michigan; OCSO; second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Oct. 27 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
Curtis Lester-Lee Tice, of 3850 W. Melody Lane, Hart; HPD; malicious destruction of a building less than $200. Pretrial: Nov. 3 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
James Allen Verschueren, of 3219 E. Winter Rd., Walkerville; HPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: Nov. 3 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $500/cash/surety.
John Edward Vetter, Jr., of 120 S. Scott St., Adrian, Michigan; OCSO; second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: Nov. 3 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
