Man arrested for OWI after falling out of vehicle.

SHELBY — A 60-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a complaint from the Shelby Wesco convenience store that he was observed falling out of his vehicle before driving away Saturday, Aug. 13, shortly before 8:30 p.m., according to Shelby Police Chief Steve Waltz.

The man was arrested after a traffic stop on Shelby Road near 88th Avenue, said the chief., and was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Michigan State Police, Hart post, assisted.

Friday, Aug. 12, 2022:

• 12:12 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 20-year-old Shelby woman was arrested on outstanding warrants and a charge of operating without a license, South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.
• 8:18 a.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Walkerville woman was picked up at the Montcalm County Jail on an outstanding local warrant and transported to the Oceana County Jail where she was lodged.
• 8:25 a.m., (MSP), a 46-year-old New Era man was cited for driving while license revoked, South Water Road near Clay Road, Grant Township.

Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022:

• 12:38 a.m., (OCSO), a 25-year-old Walkerville woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, North 144th Avenue near Winter Road, Crystal Township.

Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022:

• 6:20 p.m., (MSP), a 20-year-old Hart woman was arrested for domestic violence and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, Taylor Road near 64th Avenue, Hart Township.
• 7:27 p.m., (OCSO), gas drive-off, $44.70 in fuel stolen, Wishing Well convenience store, Business US 31, Pentwater Township.

Monday, Aug. 15, 2022:

• 5:13 a.m., (OCSO), larceny, South Oceana Drive near Webster Road, Grant Township.
